What happens next

Every application goes through the same steps.

  1. We read your application

    We check that it's complete, and may call or email you with a question.

  2. We check the details

    With your consent: your credit report, and calls to your employer, landlords and references. We'll ask for photo ID and proof of income.

  3. The owner decides

    The owner of the home makes the final decision, and we'll let you know.

Who sees my application?

Zola's team and the owner of the home you're applying for. With your consent, a credit bureau or tenant screening service prepares your credit report. We don't sell your information; our privacy policy has the details.
