Renting in Lakeshore: what we see
Lakeshore stretches along Lake St. Clair east of Windsor, from busy Belle River and Emeryville to farms and small lakeside communities.
Belle River
The town centre on Lake St. Clair, with older houses near the water and newer subdivisions, rented to families who commute to Windsor along Highway 401 or County Road 22.
Emeryville and the west end
Newer family houses close to Tecumseh and Windsor's east end, rented to families who want space near the city's plants, hospitals and schools.
Stoney Point, Comber and the farms
Smaller communities to the east and farmhouses on septic, where the lease should cover water, heating fuel and snow clearing.
