About the role
Zola finds and screens tenants for landlords across Ontario. As a Leasing Associate, you're the person tenants meet at the door: you show the home, answer their questions about it, and point interested people to our rental application. You work in your own part of Ontario and set your own schedule.
What you'll do
- Show homes to people looking to rent, at times that work for the landlord and the tenants
- Open and close the lockbox, and make sure the keys are always back in it
- Follow each landlord's instructions for their home
- Introduce yourself to landlords and tenants, and keep everyone in touch
- Send interested tenants to our rental application, so their details and documents come straight to Zola
- Update us after every showing: who came, who's interested and what the landlord said
You don't negotiate, make promises or sign anything for Zola or a landlord. Our team handles applications, screening and the lease.
Who we're looking for
- Friendly, on time and comfortable meeting new people
- Clear by phone and text in English; other languages are a plus
- A reliable way to get to showings in your area
- A smartphone for messages, photos and updates
- You treat every person who views a home the same way
What Zola gives you
Homes to show in your area, a team that handles applications and leases, and an electronic business card with your name for showings and networking.
